Sinners Dining Experience is COMING!
We are bringing an all new immersive dining experience inspired by the acclaimed film Sinners, produced by Tenacious Eats and created exclusively for Foodies Eat First Fest.
Known nationally for transforming beloved films into unforgettable dining experiences, Tenacious Eats creates chef driven menus that blur the line between cinema and cuisine.
While the movie plays, guests can expect thoughtfully crafted dishes and an atmosphere that captures the spirit and themes that made Sinners one of the most talked about films of the past year.
The experience will feature:
Chef Simone Faure of LaPatisserie Chouquette
Chef Travis Parfait of Sister Cities
Chef Carl Lipsey of The Open Flame 314
Jade Moore, owner of Sincerely the Craft, whose immersive hoodoo inspired artistry will help transport guests into the world that inspired the experience.
Uhuru Bakery & Cafe
Together, the team will create an unforgettable culinary activation available exclusively inside Foodies Eat First Fest, giving festival guests the opportunity to experience the film in an entirely new way through food, artistry, and immersive storytelling. We recommend watching the film ahead of the festival to help with the understanding of the references.
All guests 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
PEOPLE: NYC’s Katz’s Deli Is Touching Down in the Midwest for a Limited Time This Summer to ‘Make More Pastrami Dreams a Reality’ (Exclusive)
Katz's Deli is bringing its iconic fare back to the Midwest this summer.
The iconic New York restaurant, a staple of the city's Lower East Side neighborhood that was featured in When Harry Met Sally, is taking a step beyond the Big Apple this summer.
Katz's is bringing its pastrami sandwiches to Foodies Eat First Fest, a St. Louis food festival taking place from Aug. 22 to Aug. 23, for the second year in a row.
“We're excited to bring a taste of New York to St. Louis for the Foodies Eat First festival again this year,” a spokesperson for Katz's told PEOPLE in an emailed statement.
“It was amazing to see the positive response & level of excitement from festival goers last summer, plus our carving team loves to travel!” they added. “Looking forward to making more pastrami dreams a reality.”
According to the food festival's Instagram, the deli sold “more than 500 pounds of pastrami during their festival debut last August," so it was "only right" to bring the restaurant back this year.
The festival's founder, an influencer who goes by @BradENstl, called it "the only authentic Katz's experience outside of New York."
The festival also shared a video of the deli's food at the festival, including its sandwiches piled high with meat and slathered in mustard.
Per the festival's website, Foodies Eat First Fest offers curated foods from St. Louis and beyond, including chefs and mixologists.
It raised nearly $7,000 for local tornado relief and $2,000 for The Trevor Project last year, according to the website. This year, the festival said, its tickets will also “be reinvested directly back into the community.”
Foodies Eat First Fest is a curated celebration of the best flavors from St. Louis and beyond—bringing together standout chefs, award-winning mixologists, and unforgettable experiences all in one space.
